De wereld is in een paar weken compleet veranderd. \u2018Blijf binnen, houd afstand!\u2019. Thuis werken als het kan, thuis blijven als je je niet helemaal 100% voelt en als de overheid het nog toestaat, mag je naar je werk. Winkelstraten zijn leeg, de meeste winkels zijn dicht. We leren nieuwe woorden \u2018Social distancing\u2019 en \u2018Lock-down\u2019. De supermarkt medewerkers zitten achter een plaat plexiglas.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alles, bijna alles, wat leuk is is onmogelijk. Uit eten, ergens op een terrasje iets drinken,.. een concert, zelfs naar de kapper is voorlopig niet mogelijk en een vakantie boeken is een schot in het donker. Dan komen de muren sneller op je af dan je denkt. Je kunt een wielrenner niet in quarantaine stoppen. Die hebben vrijheid en hokjes van 30 bij 30 kilometer nodig. Minstens. Of een indoor fietstrainer. Een Tacx of een Wahoo en Zwift. En dan nog, kijk je 20 keer per dag naar buiten, check je Buienradar. En baal je.<\/p>\n

Met je vaste clubje weer eens dat ene mooie rondje doen is niet toegestaan en zelfs profs hebben, ook als ze alleen op de fiets stappen, last van nog zo\u2019n nieuw fenomeen, \u2018trainingsschaamte\u2019. En waar trainen ze eigenlijk voor? Alle voorjaarsklassiekers zijn afgelast…geen Giro, de Tour gaat misschien, heel misschien door.<\/p>\n

Gelukkig zijn er ook nog mooie dingen. Prettige afleiding. Fietsen, muziek, mooie interviews met profs en insiders, ploegleiders, prachtige anekdotes en opgehaalde herinneringen in de vorm van oude wedstrijdverslagen en documentaires. Je vindt het allemaal hier: www.degroteplaat.nl<\/a><\/p>\n

In een Pod-cast van een klein uur nemen oud-wielerprof en muziekjournalist John den Braber en muzikant, zanger en wielerfanaat Blaudzun met enige regelmaat de meest opmerkelijke gebeurtenissen in het profpeloton door. O\u00f3k bespreken ze hun favoriete nieuwe muziek en\u00a0die van de renners en rensters in het peloton.<\/p>\n

Na de uitzending vind je een mooi en overzichtelijk lijstje Spotify en YouTube links om te kunnen horen en zien waar het in de uitzending over ging.<\/p>\n
