A few women and men can call themselves world champions next week. The UCI Road Race World Championships take place in Doha, Qatar next week.

The road race for men starts near the Khalifa International Stadium. Between the start and finish the riders face 257.5 flat kilometres. Following a 151.1 kilometres round through the desert, a 15.2 kilometres circuit in Doha is to be raced seven times. Peter Sagan is title holder.
